Should be a Euro spec 1989. In Europe the window tags were not introduced up until the GTS imho.

Greetings from Germany

Hey Tim, It’s an interesting car, but very neglected. No options sticker any place to find.

Thanks Dave! The car caught my eye because it looked to have a GTS type rear clip and the engine block stamp simply has "4Z" stamped on the block and nothing else. Otherwise, the car is beat to hell. Sad really.

I asked and both cars have 09981 and 09991 Z-orders. This means that they were diverted to Porsche Exclusive at some point, before delivery.
But the XC1 is not listed. It's really difficult to understand things linked to Porsche Exclusive!
It seems that the XC1 code was used only at the end of the 1989 MY, or maybe was it only not registered into the PET before?

Early '87s had flip up spoiler. This one is about mid point of 87 ROW production ... so ... maybe/maybe not. Someone else might have more definitive information re the spoiler.

The rubbings strips are original, as for any regular European S4 before the 1990 MY.

Thanks Samuel ... I've corrected my notation
The options listed are truly a bit hit and miss in some cases.
