I started using weatherpac connectors when , after ten tears, the bilge pump in my boat went. The connector was a weatherpac, and was lying in water most of its life. When disconnected there was ZERO corrosion or contamination. That was on 2011. Any connector that has room and is subject to harsh environments, I use these. I bought a whole kit with 1 to 6 contacts. Best purchase ever. Did the radiator wiring before I put the rad back into the GT...

Just installed the low profile shroud into my GTS. The hardest part is hooking up the weatherpac connector.
I honestly can remove this cowling in less than a minute, and I can reinstall it in the same time. I really like the additional free space between the engine and the fans.
Thank you Hans!

What dimension is the stock 928 radiator?
For a few years I ran a Volvo S60 fan+shroud on my 944 (cut to fit).
As removed from the Volvo it is 24x17" shroud with a ~16" blade. From front of shroud to back of fan motor is only 4"...
You can feel a breeze standing behind the car if you turn it on. Car never got past the middle line...

I still do not have any inventory of fan shrouds. The supplier that makes these does it more as a service to the community than as a profitable item. I will ask again, but its possible this product will be out of stock for some time.

Hans,
In the interest of supplying these to interested parties, is it just a matter of cutting the templet and bending the aluminum? Or are there some nefarious additional voodoo steps needed short of installing fans into the cowling?

There is some pretty complex tooling to do do the inverted bends. I have a design for using the dual 11" fans that does not require all the tooling.
The ducts are printed, so nothing special there.

Looks like there will be another batch of these soon. I am modifying the design slightly this weekend to include mounting for the Derale PWM fan controller for the earlier cars that do not have thermostatic control, or if there ever a shortage of output stages, there will be a self-contained option.
Thanks

Hey Hans, can I buy a passenger intake piece that bolts to the fan? I sorta broke one on a car yesterday and need to replace it.
