Looks quite nice for a mod car. The gills are weird.

That is painful to look at.

Where the heck did he "invest" $100,000?

Car $10,000
Engine $10,000
Interior $10,000
Paint/Body $15,000
General $5,000

Those are being really generous and only come out to $50,000

New saying... $100,000 away from a $7,000 car

If it's really a stroker, the engine is a lot more than $10k. Hard to tell from that pic whether it's still a 928 block under there. A few things say yes, others no. I'm leaning no; in which case the engine could indeed be less than $10k.

Nonetheless, $44k for that is, to me, an example of the wife demanding that a husband try to sell "his" car, and the husband posting it for sale for a price that will never come close to being offered. He'd have a tough time selling at half that price.

Nice. It's a Chevy engine. And in that thread he says the paint and bodywork was "less than $20k." So that leaves $80k+ for engine work, the car itself, interior, wheels, and "other."

Mods like this = a car you keep for life or $ you will never see again.

he has only put on 7 miles on the odo since finishing in 06....hmmmm

I do like the door panels more than his original. The look of the custom work is really good. I agree the gills are over the top

This car used to be mine. 1987 black/black, sold it with 175,000 to a local guy, (remember the yellow 928 with blower sticking out of hood) that's him. Reportedly spent over $6ok on the fix up.
It never ran worth a **** so he sold it to someone at a terrible loss, here it comes again.
