Default Project 928S4 exterior done!

The car will be at the World of Wheels Car show this weekend in Minneapolis. The only things to be done are some minor electrical glitches, connect rear middle camera, and redo the headliner and door panels.

Great looking Shark Malibu! Question... the wood trim on the interior, Jager calls it Mappa Burl & still shows it on their web site. However, conversations with them last year discovered that it was no longer available at that time. Just wondering if perhaps that was a recent addition to your interior & if so, where you got it from? Guessing its from back when Jager could still get it, yes?

The gill slits are going in the right direction. Impressive work.

For some reason, my eyes want to see rocker panels.

Need to clean the carpet on the drivers side, looks tacky with the grease stains on an otherwise intersting looking custom job.

I got the wood last year just before they quit carrying it... It looked a lot better before the DVD was installed... now it will probably back to the drawing board... The fuel cap was because the fuel door is kind of flimsy, where the Ford billet product is very solid. The look is OK, but not fantastic... I agree also on that point... I had a vision for larger vents instead of the gills, Vescio's wanted these... he was right, I was wrong... they look better in person!

hmmm.... so are you saying that at some point you might replace the wood trim you have in it now? If so, is that something that you will be able to remove without damage & might be interested in selling to a fellow shark owner?? Of would it be too difficult to remove, reinstall & still look right? The Mappa Burl wood would look great in my brown interiored shark!

Impressive effort - not at all my cup of tea, but I admire the ability to have vision and follow through on it...

I would second that the filler cap looks out of place - might have worked better if the car had been silver or black. Just MHO of course.

Am I imagining things or is the rear sitting higher than normal? Almost looks like the car is under heavy deceleration.

I really like the reshaped rear wheel wells. I like how they match the fronts. Never understood why the originals were shaped so differently front to back. Great job.

The rear wheel shape was Vescio's idea, again he was right (I wanted a bit more flare)... the interior needs to be redone next week... will be cleaned up... As far as the Napa, I'll most likely remove it later and can do so without damage, but I may keep it... not sure!

The car does sit higher because of the 19" wheels... the 19" in my opinion does not add much and cost me $1500 to get the look. I'll most likely lower the rear a bit... I do have 18" rears available on 18 X 10 wheels...

Very nice work! The rear fender treatment came out looking very well integrated. How are the cameras working out? (if you have even driven anywhere, with all that snow)
