928 RS Concept Sketch

Denny, RSR type hood strut doesn't bother me, and won't.
Had my other Porka set up this way too. I'm weird that way I enjoy
the extra step.
Car IS Quick. Need to get her legal looking and weighed I'm curious, but have to work so that will wait.
RS has a very early appearance now, looks like a late '70s model, i want to fit early parts like a
polished metal gas cap and would love early pasha seating. I may just fit the driver's RSR mirror on
a custom and simple lightweight fiberglass base so it look earlier. Have to make the base.
Early blue pasha and vinyl seating will be something long term i search for. -Matt

Good stuff! Now that will not be noticeable to the folks in your town. Reminds me of my teenage years blasting through the small town where I grew up in my Roadrunner with straight pipes.
Put them on notice!

Yeah, I had better be careful. I don't want any tickets.
My Uncle had a brown RR,
I think i had better find a way to quiet it down a bit w/o scrapping the exhaust.
I may try to add super trap baffles (motorcycle exhaust) to each side,
it's too loud for the street. I think it will run better cold too. It ran lousy until it got to operating temp.

He won't like the steel gas cap... too much weight.
I second Bob's work and pasha availability.

My Dad gave it to me when i was 17. It's beaten up good but works flawlessly.
I should have always taken it off to work, my mistake years ago. I am looking for a donor on ebay as a parts watch to swap bezel. Hard to find the exact model.
You're right. Not as powerful as it was. Also, I am still running the factory advance setting. I have a euro intake to install, deciding if the motor should come out for a compression bump. There is a lot of 'go' still in there waiting.
The big thing i noticed today IMO000, is the sharpened handling.
It seems noticeably more nimble. I'm Not exaggerating.
Thanks Bud, wish the same for #30. I know it will happen.
Cool idea, the plastic cap is very heavy though, can't imagine the metal one is too much more.
My car weighed about 3300 lbs when i brought it home Tony. Maybe a little more.
As soon as i got it home I immediately started removing weight i.e. spare tire, smaller battery etc.etc.
When i started this RS project it already weighed only 3175 lbs. I'll weigh it soon, but still haven't removed things like the condensor and some AC lines, more wire and sound deadening. The wire removal will take time. I would even like to replace the steering wheel which seems a bit heavy but is elegant-Matt

If you want someone to do the work for you, I can personally recommend Duarte Mendonca at Northeast Watch Works (http://newatchworks.com/). He's built several custom watches for me, mostly Seikos.

I made a baffle similar to the way a supertrap works but with a Porsche Megaphone twist in design. The response from the cold motor feels like i may have solved the back pressure issue. This exhaust shaved a lot of weight, over 55 lbs. I really want to make it work. Will test drive it tomorrow.
