I too got the bug to dive in this february. I picked up a clean 84 928S and am doing a driving restoration. This is my second transaxle car to do this with. I also have an 86 944 NA I've Gotten mechanically sorted. As a gear head I enjoy the surprise I find when looking over an old car that others have worked on. Looking forward to your updates.

I'm really surprised Roger looked at this article as a negative on our Sharks. I, like most here read it as a huge positive and can't wait for the next installment. Great writing Pablo. Very fresh and with a point of view that we all share. Love, respect and at times aggravation. You'll have to change your name though to DePorsche.....

Roger would probably show you more love if you bought an auto (aka Rogerbox) instead of a manual. Anyway, good to have you on board and thanks for saving another one.

For a "dyed-in-the wool, air-cooled 911 junkie", now that you own a 928, here's a video you may enjoy. (I imagine it's like Lord Valdimort and not spoken of on the 911 boards.) It's hard to count the number of 911's Mark passes... He does it so quickly

Hi Pablo - no disrespect I just called it as I felt it - just getting old and crotchety - good luck with your project and I will watch for the updates. The project is good but some of the verbage felt negative when in the reading eyes of none 928 people. I know all the 928 crowd will support you but others will see it as a good reason not to consider a 928.
Peace Brother!
