928 5-speed conversion parts, body panels, engine, more...
This stuff might be of interest to some:
928 body parts:
http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/pts/3787250672.html
928 5-speed & conversion parts:
http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/pts/3787241314.html
The engine with 23k miles on it is still in the car but available if YOU come over and pull it, It have a hoist and my yard is big, clean and easy to work in. Come get it for a great price soon.
The parts car is going to the scrap yard soon, if you want anything else off of it, come get it, or if it's easily extracted I can send it.
Car & parts are in Alameda, CA.
I hope my prices are fair, but everything is open to friendly offers! I have parts I want to sell, if you want to buy them, I bet we can all be happy. I do want to see these parts help out some other 928 owners.

Good job, Jesse.
Those parts look excellent and need to make it onto a car, not be scrapped.
Wish that thing was closer to us, a bit out of Suburban range for both me and Jim Doerr.
(Jim, I could see that clutch pack being quite useful for No. 1. I still wanna drive that biotch!)

Jesse and Travis are great guys and have been a real pleasure to do business with.
I applaud their efforts to get as many good parts off this car before it moves on.
Someone should pick up the front bumper cover (I think it's new). Jesse, get it out from under the pile so it doesn't get deformed.

Landseer, yeah, the car is full of useful parts. That motor has 23k miles on it... but I can't spend any more time pulling it apart... Anyone want to come pick up the car before it goes to scrap?
Jim, thanks. I don't own a Porsche, but I've had plenty of older rare-ish cars so I know that saving good, hard-to-come-y parts is a service to other owners. If I had unlimited time and space I would keep everything on this car as long as needed, however it can't stay in my yard much longer.
The sheet metal and drivetrain parts I can keep awhile until someone wants them. I'll go move the bumper cover from the pile like you said.

Well, the car sold this weekend, and my backyard is looking better now . I'm glad that another 928 owner is going to use the engine and suspension from this car.
I still have the'78 5-speed drivetrain from it for sale. I also have the doors, fenders, front & rear bumper covers, and glass (hatch, quarter window, and passenger door window) for sale.

Limited appeal with a 78 5 spd, even from a low mile car most are "sticky" about assuming it needs syncros or more when it can't be test driven. I thought about asking on some parts, but anything I don't need seems like a better option is to wait for the annual 928Intl sale unless the part shipped cost is a LOT less the year warranty swamps the value of any savings.

JesseC,
I sent you a request earlier today for the clutch pack in your original thread. How much do you want for the entire clutch assembly including TO bearing & guide, pressure plate, intermediate plate, pilot shaft and both friction plates?? Please PM me if no one has bought them yet.
