I bolted Recaro side brackets to stock seat rails with Recaro Pole Position seats.

GURUS needed!!!
Trial fitted seats and they clear tunnel and E-brake. Not sure about E-brake cover as it was missing tho.
I have another Guru question....
The factory strut brace is 0.15" thick between cap bolt and car body.
What is the thickest material I can get between the bolt head and the body before the bolt head starts hitting the hood when it closes?

If my picture memory serves me properly, that bolt is at least 1/2 of an inch below the hood line, but my unknown right now is that the hood has the structure rail at the sides about an inch inboard from the edge of the hood.

Hoods off at the moment. Guess I'll put the strut brace on the backburner. I've got a few more parts to gather, then I'll stab the engine. Another question is which fuel line is high pressure and which is return line on the passenger side near firewall? I'll be plumbing up the Corvette fuel regulator/ filter. It's PSI is 58and has a return built in....

I churned out a spare set of the billet seat rail adapters if anyone is interested (set of 4) $75 shipped anywhere US-48 only. Just PM.
All 4 together weigh in a touch over 3 lbs.....

If you used flat head allen screws, countersunk,
you should be able to use material that is as thick as the material plus bolt head is now -at least in that area- still, the clay test first sounds like a good idea.
