Default New quarter mile results?

I had seen a few really cool builds going on over here and I'm curious if they had come to fruition down the strip?

I couldn't find anything via search. I'd love to see what's been achieved this last year..

No offense..but I dont think the 928 crowd is much of a 1/4mi focused group.

There are cheaper, lighter cars, to break things on that do better at it...but hey, I'll head to Sacramento for the drags at some date..just hasnt been a priority to go. But ya..I will someday.

Well have fun however you enjoy your cars. I was just looking for some info. I can recall a few guys were trying it out.

Nice responses, I'll leave you guys to your own. Have a good one.

I hope you don't have an auto with 2.20 gears.

Maybe the rest of the Porsche universe treats us the way they do in part due to our responses to posts like this. It appears that he was sincere judging from the compliment paid in his initial question and his courteous response to our less than friendly answers.

Wasnt unfriendly..just..were not a big drag crowd.

I will never expect a "Let's meet at the *** dragstrip sometime" like I do on the more sporty/drag friendly types of car forums Im on as well.

I've been planning to break out my Gtech and do some comparison runs between my two 5speeds both setup with the latest of PorKens' chip sets. One with a 2.20 rearend and the other with 2.72, at least I hope to if I can ever get some clear weather.
