Not sure if it turns over or not. My guess is no....it was full of water when I got it. Eventually it will be pulled and disassembled, might be a good part or two still left in it.

Well, I worked on good ol #30 a little bit today...finally got the center console out. Next, the dash!

Funny, although I thought I was making progress, it sure doesn't look like it....

I am so glad that you are in a position to resume the resurrection. I know that seeing all those other sharks helped to light the fire.
Let me know if you need anything..

Sorry to say, not much to report. It got hot here early, first day f may, and I have been working 80 hr weeks, and the weekends. Have not had any shop time....last work I did was on the white 82. Neither cars have been touched since May. I am itching to get back in my shop...got to **** or get off the pot with the 82. Need to do timing belt on it, but I got to get it out of the shop to pull my suburban in and replace the motor mounts....I think I will try to sneak out to the shop Sunday, and at least crank her up and let her run a bit...been a few months. Currently she is stripped down, no pod, no console...working on getting the dash out, that's how I left her......

Ron,

Hopefully, you find some free time soon. Projects of these magnitude take time, energy and money. Don't get down on yourself for stepping away for a bit...sometimes this helps.

Brian.

No real update on #30. She still sits waiting patiently. I started her up last weekend, and let her run for about an hour. Still has the same miss in her that I left her with...got to change the plugs. Battery was dead, and I had to charge it for a while to get it to turn over.

Started her up on turkey day as well. Battery dead again (she has a drain), but I did forget to disconnect it. She ran great, I was at my computer in the basement with the door open, where she was in my direct line of sight. She ran for about 30 mins, started loping, and cut off. I sprinted out to the shop, and found that I forgot to add fuel, and she ran dry. Whoops.

After I get whitey drivable, she will get more loving. Check out my 82 thread...been some movement there.....

Went to start #30 over the thanksgiving weekend, and the darn battery was flat, I had forgot to disconnect it months ago the last time I started her. Hooked it up to the charger overnight, but to no avail....she’s toast...gotta go get a new one...crap....no #30 love....

Teaser: #30 getting a little attention this weekend....took in-needed spindle off replacement drivers side axle shaft. Need to repack with grease and install it.
Hooked up the battery booster, and she tried to start, but no joy. If things go as planned this weekend, I’ll have the axle in, get her running, and get the dash out.....

I just reread this thread and, holy smokes, what amazing fortitude. I would have never taken on such a project, nor made such good progress if I had.

Go, Ron. Go!
