Thanks bud....I work so much, it has killed my shop time....while I have this much apart, I think I am going to go ahead and work on making my double din opening in my spare center console...it won't be as nice as some of the ones on here, but it will work!

Maybe I'll have it done by summer?

On top of everything else going on in my life, I have a really hard time uploading videos and pictures with this crappy internet I have....I live in the country, the ONLY internet I get is 3mb DSL from Windstream....I HATE it.

Cant get Time Warner, cant afford satellite, cant get any faster. It took 45 mins to upload this you tube video......sheesh

Enjoy.....a side note...I have not started her in 4 months, since I flooded the motor...several times.....the smoke actually stopped after the video.....A little more run time, and she will probably be back to normal....need to run some SWEPCO in her I guess....Oh, also..been so long, forgot to turn my phone sideways....sorry...

Look what I got! A score for me, in my mind anyway....

EXACT same part number as my 78.... In fact, it's in better shape than the one I refurbished! A fantastic spare! Got it for $50!

Yea, the one in my car now was 50$ too, but no relays, and I had to repair some wires and so a complete scrubbing of every contact, then buy relays. This goes in the win column

Well, little fixes here and there, ignition switch works now. I'm so glad I am able to start the car with a key now....had to pull the guts out of my old key cylinder.

Here's the new kit

It wasn't too bad a project....getting the pin out that held the lock cylinder in was a bit of a pain, then getting the assembly out, it was a little problem getting it back together, but with a little patience.....about a 2 hour job, as long as the pod is already off.....

Was able to spend a little time with #30....my daughters boyfriend helped me finally get the windshield (well, what's left of it...) out...then clean up the mess.
