MAYBE I can make it. If so, I'll be there to display my scars from having swapped headers for stock exhaust manifolds, engine in the car. This is relatively easy in a track car with no A/C cassette, but a b@&^h in a street car. You need a variety of 13mm wrenches (long and short Gearwrench, etc.), sockets and extensions with u-joints to reach all the manifold nuts; some best from above, some from below.

Be prepared to be able to undo the driver's side motor mount and lift the engine 1/2"-1" on that side. It also may be worth dropping the alternator in order to be able to get your arms up and around the crossmember for the upper bolts on cylinders 5 and 6. A long 13mm flexhead gearwrench is your friend here. May I suggest

How much time are you budgeting? Driver side alone took me 4-5 hours. Passenger side is a breeze if there is no air pump. They sound great, but are a PITA to install.

Be sure to recruit someone with small hands !! Have an extra stud or two on hand just to make sure no stud breaks ! Lub the nuts with good penetrating oil the day before. Have a couple extra nuts in case one goes missing. I have done it in the driveway by my self did not loosen motor mounts ,no A/C and left the alt on but it is REAL tight.

Make sure you have lots of extensionsof varying lenghts, adapters, swivels, spare swivels, extendable magnets, and gear wrenches. You will try every combination just to get the upper bolt on cyl # 6 & 7.
Oh,and despite it looking like you can slip #8 in afterwards... You can't. You have to install it that side all together at once. The slip joint just helps with gettin it in there. I have to do that side twice because of that.
Ok warnings are done.
If you put out a swear jar, it will have more than a few $$ by the end.
You might want to read my post from when i did this. https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...deo-added.html
Have fun!

That's where I got the scar on my right wrist. I did those from above with a Gearwrench and abraded my wrist on the inner fender so badly it took a month to heal.
