I don't know what type of guy he is, i've never met Sterling. Calling him out as a "*****" is real low though... why don't some of you try doing what he has done, then talk ****. He pretty much beat his own path AFAIK with that motor project, engineering and testing, all his own money, etc.
He should just do what he likes, if he wants attention he could build up a Chev motor and drive around with 1100HP or something like that, but i think this goes way deeper than wanting attention.
Found a vid of Sterling's car running.

From 2009 OCIC. Pictures do not do the car justice. You have to see it, hear it, and smell that Paul Champagne interior.
Sterling - I wish you well, no matter if you pursue another path or reconsider the sale. Take care and don't be a stranger! - JW

If I didn't live in NSW Australia where it is not possible to register LHD cars this add would have been pulled because I would have bought it and already organised the shipping, and I don't like brown cars.

Sterling-
I'm not really adding anything new here, just reinforcing what others have suggested.
We all get fed up with these cars from time to time. I have, you have, pretty much everyone I know in the 928 world has at one point or another. The key is to step away for a while and then come back with "fresh eyes."
I have hardly touched my car in the past year and a half. I recently pulled the SCer and it was really fun! I got my hands dirty and I actually got my son involved and my daughter too! It was great!
The best part, however is when it's all together and it runs. You know how awesome these cars can be when they run! They are a bad-*** platform for speed and handling.
Look at Simard. He was ready (might still be) to cash it all in and leave the 928 world behind, but he pushed on and persevered and is loving life again in his 928 racer.
If it's a life event that is driving this, then fine... I get it. But if it's just because you're tired of it, well then take a vacation. Go play with some other toys. Get laid. Get drunk. Do whatever it takes to stop thinking about the 928 for a while. Then come back when you start getting the itch.
That car totally matches your personality. Without it, I don't think you'll find satisfaction. You created the monster, now you have to wrestle with the demons!![evilgrin](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/evilgrin.gif)
No matter what you finally decide, I wish you peace and happiness.

This is THE roadgoing über-928! It shows the purity of the 928 shape and the power that could be extracted from that beautiful engine, if it was developed further. i just wish.....
