yeah but the best part (wide body conversion) is gone. This is without a doubt the smoothest factory look fender flaring out there.

That might be because factory GTS quarters were used.

That only part of the reason. He started with Factory GTS quarters and then had them massaged out another 2 inches on each side (IIRC). So it looks factory... just wider.

Sterling,
Man, I am sorry you have lost your love for the car. It sucks when the passion just wears off. I have been enjoing the symphony of auto engines for over 50 years. Yours is the best sounding engine I have ever heard. I would love to listen to it every daY but it is way out of my budget. You inspired me many times to get out there and work on the car when I didn't feel like it. I wish you all the best.

Cheers,

Sterling had a few come and look at the car and give offers, offers that were much to low so he has the car and I think he's been working on it some more. We've traded parts here and there so I think progress is being made.

I do know he's working his *** off the past few months.

There's probably more to this then "I'm sick of this car". Hopefully he can find a way to keep it.

Most if not all of us could not get the $$$ what we have into our cars. You have to bite the bullet and take a loss if selling, or get it running and enjoy it. Hope Sterling does the latter.02 T

SO true Tony, so true! Thankfully it is a labor of love for most all of us so we don't have to actually make money on our cars...all we have to do is finish them and enjoy them! (though are they ever REALLY finished?! ;-)
