Again, I am missing Anaheim by a $#@!!! week. Going to Disneyland with family next weekend. (Had to accommodate son's school schedule...)
I vow to get there next year. Hopefully with a decent respray to avoid looking like a ratrod...

The drive was switched to Saturday for better participation.... And no one went!
Mike-

This is 100% my fault, I managed to miscommunicate with the spousal unit over making sure that her October call weekend didn't conflict with SF12, and of course it did. Then I assumed that I'd just ask one of the Sharktoberfest veterans to lead the fun run, but couldn't find any takers- I guess I should have asked you! But regardless I should have found a backup leader much sooner than 1 PM today, so I'm really sorry for that. And then I had to bolt for a kid pickup in Aliso Viejo and then a freaking gymnastics meet in Pasadena.....

I can't make a run tomorrow (housebound tomorrow with 3 kiddoes with birthday parties and long-term homework projects to work on) but perhaps you and I and Dr Bob can meet up some weekend soon and run Angeles Crest together.

I don't agree Rob. It's not your responsibility to be the standard bearer of The funrun, where if you don't charge out of the parking lot with a Porsche flag waiving, screaming "charge!" then no one even goes? That's now how it should work. People should take personal responsibility for what they want.

Also, it was wet all morning, and YouTube moments are always on people's minds.

This is a great idea Rob! I have contact with 5 other guys that would probably get together for this. The monthly Portillo's meetings could build a big group for something like this on a semi-regular basis. I'll try and coordinate something and make a new thread about it.

PS -Thanks for the ride yesterday. Your car is freaking over the top fast!

Thanks to Mark Anderson and his wife and kids for all they do to make this event enjoyable every year.

Had a nice run to and from the event with Luan (REDSHARK 1990).

Met many of the old gang and some new ones.

Spent some time talking with our resident fabricator Jerry Feather - looking forward to your completed wheelwell covers, Jerry!

Special thanks to Alan who slaved for several hours installing a remote entry system on my GTS - you da man, Alan!

The traditional rolling shark bar was in action.

I wish I could go this year but am just too busy. Still a working stiff.
Dan's car is AWESOME. He got the matching Pasha-ish shirt and boots to boot. The interior is simply out of this world. To make his car absolutely perfect, may I suggest green masking tapes on the fender?

Agreed. Randy, thank you again for the great rolling bar, we had a great time and it was a true pleasure seeing you and our old friends.

My wife and I had a GREAT time at SF12 this year. Unfortunately, we were not able to spend the night but spending all day Saturday seeing all the great 928s and visiting with fellow enthusiasts was outstanding!

Thanks to Mark Anderson for all the work he and his team put into hosting the event. Thanks also to the vendors that came and provided great products and consulting. I also enjoyed just catching up with fellow shark owners and really appreciated everyone's willingness to share knowledge and experiences - OUTSTANDING!

Here's some random pictures we took.
