I cannot say I knew him well, but we talked on the phone just a few months ago. What a sad day. God bless those touched by him. RIP Andre.

This is horribly sad news.

Spoke with him a couple month back trying to help him get his RoW 78 imported into the US.

This is so sad. I ran into him only a couple of weeks ago at Dan the Pod Guy's house. I did not know him well, but I liked and respected him. RIP.

Will some of you more local 928 owners be able to attend the memorial service. A 928 contingent would be very fitting for Andre.

I feel sick, haven't been able to figure out what to post since I saw the thread pop up.

Always a pleasure to talk to online.

I remember when he sent in his money for the Holbert / Kibort engine fund, I joked with him about having the decimal point a spot over.....he just made a comment like: "It's only money, I'll make more!!!" Then a while late he sent in more, said he had a good week.......

RIP Andre. Say hi to JP from the GLOC group, ok?

Oh man, I'm so sorry to hear this. I'll always remember his smile and enthusiasm on display at the SITP picnics. My condolences to his family. RIP Andre.
