Thanks guys. I also agree that this is a natural fit. We will see what happens.
I've sent a PM to Steve without response. But then i saw he's unavailable for the next 30 days. So I've tried calling Amanda a couple times, but her voicemail is full. I just tried texting her (hope it was a cell number he posted) and will hopefully get a response. Is anyone in contact with Steve (or Amanda) and can let them know I'm very interested? I may also have transportation arranged to get the car mostly up this way and would love to take advantage of it, but timing is everything.
I would really like this car. More importantly, my son (and maybe my daughter) would really like this car. The purpose will be to turn this into a father-son-daughter project. I agree with DR that the engine needs to be pulled and gone through. It might be toast - probably is - or is close to it. So this would be a really cool project and the SCer aspects... well it's like it was meant for me. When it's all done, it would be like having a "Mini-Me."
And just for the record, my first color choice has always been BLACK! and yet these red ones keep coming!
There is a lot of other things that will need to happen before I get too far down the planning road. Namely, Steve and I need to come to an agreement on a price.
Steve, you watching this? Call me man! I've got cash!
Stay tuned...

Tom... I thought we settled that debate. Red is the fastest color. Here's the picture that proves it. There were three red cars out of 11 (at least one was black) and only the 3 red ones got pulled over. That was an expensive experiment.
