The 928 was the best sounding car out there, hands down.
Some of those guys have no clue how to put power down smoothly, several of them absolutely SUCK at shifting.

Been to TX Mile a few times, and I agree, there were only a few people that knew how to properly launch. GLWS. T

I think we are missing a important point here and that is what happened to the engine.
I would like to know how much boost it was pushing and what happened, I heard 10 is that right?
I assume it ran lean and was pinging like a bitch but it is hard to tell from the pictures of the plugs.
I see some detonation but it dose not look like that much.
Hell I have burned the electrode off a plug and never burned a piston or broke a ring.
I would like to see pictures of the cylinder with a baroscope because I would hope the rings are not that weak.
10 PSI is a lot if it detonates but many cars have been run on over double that.
Any thoughts

Whomever buys this should figure on a total engine rebuild so we don't have to read a "I got butthurt because he didn't tell me about" thread later this year. Followed shortly after by the "I F'cked up buying it and can't afford to fix it so I'm gonna part it out" thread.

Very interesting.
Nothing has been confirmed except that #7 cylinder only has 120 psi
And that it was blowing oil like a texan oil tycoon from day 1 with its new owner.
All this does not sound right as I never heard of this car using oil,
but then again I didn't know it had an Idle of 4000 rpm (at least thats the way I read it)
even though it doesn't look that way in the video, seems to idle low and does not smoke.
I would guess that it is sucking oil from a vacuum line installed wrong and I bet the intake is washed from oil.
All the plugs are fouled not just 1 or 2 confirming ingestion.
Using that much oil could cause lots of carbon issues.
So unless someone knows more and is not saying, ... no engine damage has been confirmed.
But as I do not know this car and the "prototype" blower I can only assume from what I have read which is not a confirmed diagnosis yet.

Something else I did not think of is that this is a 16 v engine that this blower was mode for. I originally though of setting the SC on my 89 but now i understand that it would not fit.
