Kind of brings to mind 'buyer beware' and do your homework. Chalk it up to a really expensive learning experience. Speaking from experience as I bought a TBF car prior to becoming an RL member. Best on the sale, though I hope the above doesn't open a can of worms.

Sure sounded a heck of lot better than the Z06 that ran right after it!

11G hell I could stick that on my Visa and have room for another Tec-4 to tune it with.
Do you want a 89 with bent Valves
just joking, I wont sell the 89 but I am considering buying yours.
Can anyone in the area do a baroscope of the cylinders and post the pics?

hmmmm i always wanted screwed twice ... I mean the twinscrew and then I would have the red car for next to free

I'm sorry Iwanna928, I am sorry you can not fix your car and keep it.
F&*K I wish these renos weren't costing so much.
Dose it run?

Needing engine work is the best time to buy a car.
As long as the rest of it's nice, the engine is the easy part and opens up a world of possibilities!
You could prep a short block just for it and viola, total car!

I don't know where this fear of engine work comes from. It comes out and can be put back in.

You go for it Calvin. the logistics of me getting it to canada would be a pain anyway and I will not know if I will have the extra cash for a few weeks.

I bet the blower is worth 2/3s the asking price though
