Storm forecast holding true it seems. We will be meeting at MM1 on the BRP regardless of weather. Might bolt over to 81 tho if it's rough.

I am all packed, car is cleaned up and loaded, now if the stars will just get lined up so I can go I will be in good shape, Paul and Ryan may have to back out, Helen has had a death in her family so it is kind of up in the air if I should even go at this point.

So sorry to hear that Greg.
We hope you ( both?) can make it if possible.

My wife enjoyed talking with her when we met u guys in Atl last year, and would probably be grateful to see someone she knows this weekend other than my ugly mug. Either way, please give her our condolences.

Jay

Default BRP MM1 this morning around 8:30 this morning

A bad forecast, but good spirits in the fog at Mile Marker 1. Left to right Shelly,Thom's wife, then Shane, Glenn, Courtshark (what a memory, met you last night and already forgot your name), and Thom. After they headed south to SITM I turned north to home and found Kevin (KLVA) at the first turnoff, by now he has probably caught up with the others. Looking out my window to the Blue Ridge it still looks pretty fogged in up there, so they may be cutting across to I81 soon, less BRP, but earlier into Banner Elk!

Looks like Ann and I were the third car in at 1:15 AM today. Good run from KC, few thunderstorms through KY. 896 miles in 15 hours with wife and dog, not too bad. Hans thinks I could do better.

Gotta love the phone dials, looks like a good day to have the rear wiper though. And for rear hatch seal & hinge pad sales.

So is Carl showing up?

And to those who need reminding- beware optimator. And lightning. And microbursts.
