Hi Guys and Gals,

I wanted to let everyone know that we are planning to be at the Hotel from Thursday afternoon through Sunday evening so we can spend as much time with everyone as possible this SITM, oh and party more too. :-)

We are gonna try like heck to have a relaxing day goofing off with the early arrivals at the Hotel during the whole day on Friday...vs in the past getting to the Hotel at 12 midnight on Friday night...or later!! :-(

At least that is the plan, especially since I promised Jeannie a "more relaxed" SITM for her this year.... fingers crossed, but so far we are on schedule to be there this afternoon. :-)

She really does bust her a$$ every SITM to make it the best it can be for everyone every single year....and if we are at the Hotel the whole time...I told her she doesn't even have to stress over cleaning up the house or office...ha, ha,, Just Kidding (sort of) :-)

Oh and Hans, guess what...you won't be on Vacuum Cleaner "duty" this year as in years past.....sorry to disappoint..LOL

So if anyone is thinking of coming by here early to get anything they may need..."Don't end up staring at a Locked Gate" ...get Direct TV...and then read this......

IMPORTANT: IF anyone on the road or here at SITM needs any emergency parts etc be sure to call the office number 828 290-9280 AND IF you LEAVE A MESSAGE.. we will get immediate notifications on our cell phones and can respond to any emergency needs.

Fingers crossed the only "Emergency need" this year is just a broken or lost Door Arm Release ****, or broken Sunroof Visor Clip...ha, ha!!

I'm very upset! We can't make it to SITM. I hit a deer last night. Bent the fender and broke the windshield. I'm glad it wasn't worse. Now I have to find a windshield in east Tennessee.

Hi Ron,

I saw your email about that this morning, I am very sorry to hear this..BUT I am so thankful you are OK. When I hear Deer and broken windshield, it can get SCARY!!

I do hope you reconsider coming to SITM, even if it is without your 928,..you are so close it would be a shame not to pop over and say "Hi" to everyone!

First Beer/Drink will be on me...err, Jeannie! LOL

HECK YEAH...OR...we can use the Courtyard...or better yet the LOBBY!!

On second thought, Shannon (the new Hotel Manager) is pulling out all the stops for us and has been amazing with all her help this year,...so maybe not the Lobby. :-)

BUT, I am sure she would join in anywhere else..she really is very COOL!!

Attention BRP Drivers: 80% chance of severe T-storms tomorrow morning; the projected radar for the entire BRP looks pretty awful, actually. If the Friday run doesn't work out, I'd be up for a Sunday group roll home on the BRP.

Just rolled into Waynesboro to hook up with the BRP crowd. AC sh.. the bit, lost all freon, thanks god its cool outside. But, I just checked my gas mileage with the Porken S300S chips....26MPG.....never got that before and I wasn't pussyfooting either.

Just spoke with Shane he's about a 1/2 hour behind us on 81S. We're moving along at a good clip but with the windows open 75 is all I stand without going deaf should be in Waynesboro around 8:30, save me a frozen margarita, I'm gonna need it!

We're here @ top of Beech Mountain....kids love it up here! Nice run from Asheville to Grandfather Mountain on BRP today. weather looks a bit dodgy for tomorrow. Be safe everyone!

btw, only issue with my car is I picked up a 4" crack in windshield while passing through south Carolina. My Florida insurance should love replacing my windshield for no deductible!
