I have no problem with how you or anyone else chooses to assess value and look at alternative cars.
But I'll just say one last time that this car is more than a specialized "race" car that needs to be "converted" to be streetable. I've seen it, worked on it and driven it. I knew the car and previous owner long before Tim & Cheryl acquired it. They started with a car that was cosmetically and mechanically perfect and did their magic on it. They worked very hard to preserve the interior and accessories, unlike most ORR cars in this class which are stripped down and made unlivable. So, we'll just disagree about that characterization.

can you include more pictures and specs on the engine, its weight, the brakes, the roll cage, its seats, is all the safety stuff up to date for PCA ? ive always wanted a road racing 928, for PCA NASA etc, not street racing though. so im not sure how this car would make the transition from the street to the track.

Thanks for the interest Jerry, but this would not be your best bet for track venues. A lot of track prepped 928's come up and that would be a better bet.
Thanks for your interest though.

Hmmm
Bill brings up an EXCELLENT point about the Beast.....if you removed the cage, or dropped it to a 1/2 cage (which would make it not eligible for unlimited class ORR, but still could run up to 170mph) it would make a wicked street car..... I think the AC is removed, but thats easy to put back....
The only downside of those of us in the Republic of Kalifornia is darn smog laws....it might take a bit of work (think all stock exhaust & air pump + tuning) to get it pass....
GerryK...Tim is right.....there are other track 928's or almost ready track 928's that would make the jump to wheel to wheel racing easier than the beast.... send me an email....I know of a car that would be perfect for you (no its not mine)

If only I could have seen the future , I would have waited for this car....oh well....the web sites that talk ORR would be great to advertise also but It would be cool to stay in the community...
