Show me where Porsche documented OB's and not just some web site that someone made up. Adding a rubber spoiler to an old body doesn't make it a new body. Just means it's an old body with rubber bits on it.

OB has always stood for Old Bugger.

Get your esoteric 928 trivia straight!

How in the world does a thread about Devek turn into another OB definition discussion?

Is there a corner of the 928 Rennlist this topic does not permeate? If we don't control ourselves, this thread will turn into an argument about torque vs. horsepower...

It's just called a deflection and pokin fun If we stayed on topic in any thread for more than a couple of pages people would lose hope.

I always thought it was "Original Body".

Sure glad I've got an OB GT-S though.

BTW ..... What is the best oil?

Stock up on some traction grease so you can get that torque to the ground!

What type of air is best for my tires to provide the best traction and tread life?

Traction grease?

Unless you know your muffler bearings are in good shape, traction grease will provide no improvement...

I heard that Devek used lower gearing for better acceleration at the track. This gave him a better multiplication of torque because that is the most important measure of power and acceleration.

I also believe he used Mobil 1 oil in his strokers because Amsoil wasn't up to the task.

This was in his S3 OB with S spoilers and a 32V stroker.

How's that??

Paging Mr. Kibort....
