LH22 EZF XDF TP5
Simple definitions for viewing and modifying stock 16V and 32V EPROMs using TunerPro.
For '87-'95 LH2.3 EZK, see this thread - LH23 EZK XDF TP5
As most folks will likely be using these along with a ST1, some handy ST data is exposed for convenience, rev limit, O2 sensor disable, etc.
Additionally, there are functions not available in the ST1 software, EG. disabling WOT maps, injector cutoff, idle speed, and the ability to view/rotate 3D graphs of multidimensional maps.
WYSIWYG, YGWYPF, YRMV, DIY, IE. no support for these. (Cryptic notes appear briefly when you you hover over an item.) PMs/emails asking how to install, etc., will be ignored/deleted.

LH/EZ Notes
- the LH2.2 base map is 10-bit, 0-1023, split into 8 and 2 bit tables
- the AutoThority/eBay chipset is based on LH721 and EZ428 EPROMs
- a well tuned S3 flows ~400 g/sec at max HP, at SAE air temps (red axis below)
- the stock EZF EPROM is a 2716 = 2K bytes, a 2732 will work, but only the first 2K is accessed
- injector cutoff disable is coded externally by grounding pin #15 on the LH ECU plug (for auto trans)
ST Notes
- the LH2.2 base map is 10-bit, but values are shown as -512 to 511.
XDF Notes
- MAF and MAP scales are calculated and displayed automatically for stock or with ST files

Joel - these are a small subset of the files I used to make the S300s chipset, and don't include all of the new (assembly language) coding which make the S300s so super schweet.

I see that you have a map for '85 vs. '86.5. Was there a difference in the stock mapping? I thought the only differences were hardware.
Dude, you knew Ken was working with US S3s, what were you thinking getting a Euro S2?
also as a side note: 'Max Gains and the Sharktuners' would be a cool name for a rock band.

I may be able to get my hands on an auto in the PacNW, but I need a manual, first. Both need to have a knock sensor installed.
Mike - all three versions of the 32V chips have trivial changes to the O2 sensor loop pattern(s), but the '86.5 chip, which came on the yellow motherboard, has the additional fueling in the base. I assume to go along with the larger, true dual exhaust.
Some might cynically say that '86.5s need more power, as they are heavier, but that's another story.
FWIW, the eBay/AT LH chip is a clunky 'tune' of the 721, in the (8-bit) base map only - pic added above - with no other changes, rev limit same etc.

What about doing the tuning remotely for the S2? As long as the test car has access to a SharkTuner couldn't files just be emailed back and forth?

I suppose, but I don't have/use a ST. (Which is why it has taken me 3 years to 'finish'.) If you have a SharkTuner, you can make one yourself...in theory. Going to 55psi should wake up the S2 nicely.
I kept meaning to go check out where that ROW 16V was parked, but have never made it out there.

I have a partially finished XDF for the LH527 16V chip. It is similar to the LH590, but code and data are in different places, and a lot of it is bypassed, but left in place. (Idle control, O2 loop, etc.) It's kind of a mess. The base map, and some other maps can be viewed with the 32V XDF, though.
When it's done (someday), I'll include that, too.

Looking again at the base maps above...remind me why I'd want a S2 instead of a S3(.5)?
Interest how similar the maps are at 500-660 rpm, and up to 2000 rpm above 400 grams/second (which is about the limit for a well tuned NA S3, from what I've seen, maybe 420 in cold air). Almost looks like the 16V map was used as the starting point for the 32V (or some other generic map was used for both).
