Default LH23 EZK XDF TP5

Simple definitions for viewing and modifying LH2.3 and EZ-K EPROMs using TunerPro.

For '84-'86 LH2.2 EZF, see this thread - LH22 EZF XDF TP5

Knock light patch - EZK knock light

A work in progress.
EZK is smaller and has simpler code, so that is what I'm working on first.

Different types have different size files, with different memory offsets, so I will include simple definitions for the ones I have.
Verbose definitions include all the tables and constants I'm looking at, but may not know their function, as yet.

Thread with different year part numbers, etc - https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...-and-year.html

Default Notes

'87 EZK is much simpler than later versions.
- No part number in code. No serial I/O (diagnostic).
- Less part throttle cruise advance, just changing to a later version should mean better performance (see pic below).

LH is not coded for auto or manual.
The in-gear input, pin 30, is wired to ground in the M481/manual wire harness.

The unused shift-light output, pin 26, is accessible from the code (port P1.7), 12V or 0V.

TP5 Notes
- View By: [Parameter Ordered List]
- double-click on table to view
- single-click icon with red squiggle to show graph
- hold CTRL key and move mouse to rotate 3D graph

I'm not sure what's going here yet, but I'm going to pay close attention.

You have to use FireFox or some other non-IE browser to download the XDF files, unfortunately.

For the moment I will be updating them frequently, so it would be a pain to ZIP them.

Porken, I'd replace the 1 with a 0 at point 1,m87x.2dc.

Just drove an 88 auto that isn't running too badly. Maybe needs a new MAF. But if you can do to the s4 cars what you have done to the s3 cars, it will be amazing.

I've got a bunch of bin's - I'll sort them out and send you them - some are from Chris' site, although I've got a few more chips I can dump per my posts in the other thread about chip part numbers.

From memory, the '88 S4 chip images on Chris' site are actually earlier than the '87 ones he has listed (based on part number in the bin files). The '89 S4 LH file he has may be corrupt - although it could be my copy of it; when loaded into ST software it had very funky rpm values.

Cool, thanks Hilton.
I was going to mention that Chris' '89 GT EZ file is missing most of the code.

Updated '89 EZK simple.
Added WOT map bypass, the ST version, and my version (more elegant ). My first code!
Added table 1100, which I can't figure out. It uses the same code which reads the cruise table.
I want to change the cruise table to use the knock tables' rpm scale, but I'm worried about affecting 1100.

I'm back from the beach - spent the morning doing water safety for nippers (kids programme run by Surf Lifesaving), and now have the house to myself. So I'm sitting in front of a stack of brains out of my cars and will be dumping all the versions I have to file to make sure the set I send you is as full as I have currently.

The 89 EZK file on Chris' site is from my car - I didn't send him an LH one as I assumed the one he has there is good. Will send you the set of dumps in an hour or so, to the email on your liftbars site.
