IIRC he was one of the few, and maybe the only high ranking party member that tried to do something to make up for what he did after he got out, but IMHO nothing short of a slow death by work and starvation would have been good enough for some one that forced thousands and thousands to die by starvation and worked until they died.

How to interpret this:
Unfortunately, we recently discovered that one or more of the parts you ordered are No Longer Available (NLA) because we're not going to sell them for the price we advertised.
You have to appreciate that this thread was started by one of the vendors, I think that's kind of cool.

NOTE: Since January 1, 2007, Porsche has been moving a lot of their older replacement parts from the United States to their main warehouse in Germany. There is a chance that this special Porsche-only part that you have selected may only be available in Germany, which requires longer shipping times and an additional "Germany shipping" surcharge. If this is the case, we will contact you prior to processing and shipping your order.
Please also note that many of these Porsche OEM parts are getting very difficult to obtain from our usual sources. Unfortunately, we do not have real-time access to Porsche's current stock data. Approximately 95% or more of the OEM parts we have listed are indeed currently available, but occasionally there are some exceptions. We will let you know if this part is one of those rare cases, and we apologize in advance if the part is unavailable.

It sucks that prices are going way up. What a shame.
Speer was a ****.
Speer was tried and convicted by the Allies on several charges and I recall.
He was convicted of a I think all of the charges and sentenced
He did his crime, admitted it and did his time. He was excellent at his job of keeping industry rolling through the allied bombing campaigns. A man that does his crime and his time is free and has served his punishment.
He made mistakes as did many others in WWII on both sides. Had he not been so honest and humble with the allied commanders and enquirers, he certainly would have been hanged, but his information was irreplaceable. Least you forget he also helped shaped modern Germany by keeping machine tooling and crops and supplies even after Hitler decreed that a scorched Earth policy be employed to slow advancing troops from both the East and West. No saint, but how many men were during those times? Stalin helped topple the ***** from power and the expense of maybe 50 million of his own people in local and national purges. Nobody tried him. Not to defend forced labor actions, but sh-t happens in war and the fact is the allies convicted him of doing this and punished him and he served EVERY DAY SENTENCED. He wasn't released even ONE minute early.
If you think the punishment didn't fit the crime, talk with the U.S. Supreme Court members that helped oversea the trials and the allied prosecutors that tried them.
The man did his time.
BTW A U.S. Army Air Corps General once said that if he had known how important Speer had been in keeping Germany's war machine running, he would have tasked the entire air force to target him. Tell me the allies didn't question the hell out of him and use that info to better potential wartime production schedules and look at how to streamline armament production.
Just keep an open mind. He died a free man who had made mistakes in life. Also, the Israels didn't call for his death as he never targeted Jewish people or other minorities even years later when they considered retrying former ***** that they felt were given too short of sentences. He loved Germany and unfortunately believed the ***** did as well. Many were misled and only later in their lives found the truth. Even more died believing the B.S. on the Eastern and Western Fronts.

Good points!
Unfortunally are my english reading skills way better as my writing skills.
I haven´t problems with his biography and his time in prison.I think judgement isn´t revenge and so he was after 20 years free.
Also is he one of million Germans who did wrong things in difficult times. My first reply was a reminder of his questionally moves in WW 2.
After prison he search his hidden art collection and sell the pictures.Who owns the art before he bought them?
He was a lucky child of his time but not a hero.

Shiny new car, someone that has big $$$ buys it.
A few trips to the dealer for repairs but labor and parts are excessive, owner decides to sell.
Later buyer does his own repair but just the costs of parts are excessive so decides to sell.
Another later buyer just gets parts off ebay, cost and availability becomes a problem.
Sold for parts or scrap.
The price of parts to a certain extent determines the time from NEW to scrap.
