I just listed my GTS for sale - - SOLD!!
This is NOT a FS thread!!!
Guys, I just listed my GTS for sale and thought I'd give an explanation for the listing. I am serious about selling it and am in no hurry.
Many of you may know that last March I lost my job but, as with any door that closes, another opens. I have been working with a small NC company (off the clock so to speak) and a private equity firm since last August on an opportunity of a lifetime for me. On January 4th I was officially put into my new role and will be building a sales and marketing team from the ground up. While I'm not willing to say a lot about what I'm doing (yes, it IS completely legal!!!) I will say that I am extremely excited about the possibilities and that things couldn't have worked out any better for me (both financially and scope of work) had I written down what my dream job would be..... I am truly blessed!
Anyway, I have decided that at this point in my life if I'm going to have a sportscar (and I AM!!!! ) I'd like to have something newer. Many of you also know that I had a CLK63 Black Series (sold it to Graham Rahal); I was completely enthralled by the sheer power and handling of that car!!! I want something like that again and am willing to sell my much loved GTS to have it.

Well Chuck, I for one would like to say that the short time I have been here that I have come to respect your opinions and post. The Forum will loose a valued member when you leave. I assume you will maintain contact with your 928 friends in your area but you will be missed by the rest of us I am sure.
Good luck with your new job and your new ride.

Will you still be the keeper of the Registry?

Chuck - Could you please post some pics? I'm not in the market, but would love to see it before it gets bought and possibly locked in a vault somewhere and never seen again during our lifetime. / Bruce

Chuck,
Congrat to you that life is happening as you wil it.
I wish you well with your future sucesses, and sale of your fine GTS!
Are you planned to sell it 'returned to stock' or otherwise?

Chuck,
I wish you luck with your new job and selling the car. Just because you sell the car doesn't mean your're not a 928 guy. Don't be a stranger!
I was honored to have my Strosek parked next to your GTS at SITM. After that my color of choice is the midnight blue of your car. I have always loved your car!
For those who have not seen Chucks GTS it has to be one of the best examples period!
Good luck on your sale and please keep in touch with the 928 community, you are one of us and always will be!
Best of luck,
Glenn

IMHO, you are the only one here that is not allowed to be without a 928... if you do give her up, I might have to follow suit. It just wouldn't be right!

Where is the listing? Not that I'm a buyer, but I do like to oogle the ads for cars like this. GLWS.
Need any experienced sales managers out on the West coast?

Thanks guys for all the support. Honestly, this forum has become so ingrained in my DNA that I will ALWAYS be a diehard 928 guy. I have many friends here and while I've decided to move on, you guys and this forum will always be a part of my life.
The 928 Registry will go on. In fact, it is undergoing some effort right now to upgrade and make it more user friendly. If I choose not to maintain it any longer I will turn it over to the 928OC.
Jim, initially, it will be offered in its current state but will include all of the stock parts. It would be easy for someone to put it back to stock if they would prefer it that way.
Bill, the car will be on eBay to start with since it will get most exposure here. Finished the auction several hours ago but b/c I found a spelling error and revised it b/f it showed up in a search it will take a while.....
