Nice looking 928, early white without dodads is one of my favorites. Is it an S?

I would leave it close to 100% original, at least make it as good as new before going off in some direction.

Nope its a 4.5 with the S spoilers added to it. For some reason a very common occurrence here in Oz - 4.5's without the spoilers are very hard to find in this country.

The interior looks to be in good nick Ponty.. the car must've been garaged for most of the last 30 years!

Yes, a 4.5 with a rear spoiler..

The handbook says it was originally delivered to Lindsay Saker Motors in Johannesburg!

ps - nice boat!

Might want to do some searches on adjusting the double disk clutch, may give your syncros for a little more life.

Welcome Jim. Body looks great. This bunch here will help keep the internals the same or better. Great find.

Ponty, Thank you... it is a nice boat! Its a 1991 American Skier 19' Advance which is much like our 928s... One of the best competition slalom ski boats of its time, high quality, hand-laid fiberglass hull & deck, can pick up three people from a standstill without breaking a sweat, handles like a dream & puts out a phenomenal flat wake, and like the 928 ended production in the mid 90s... hence you wont see another one on the lake which I REALLY dig! Much like our cars - you dont see many around, very classic design and waaaaaaaay ahead of its time

Again, nice find! Your gonna love that car!
