What's wrong with yours? They rarely fail.

Didn't you install LED brake lights? Cruise control won't work with those unless you mod your cruise controller or use load resistors.

Herman K and I took it apart and it looked fine. Do have LED's installed and have already run a load resistor for the 3rd brake light. Ran some tests on the unit and it spiked on one of the circuits. T

If someone here doesn't have one, they can be found on eBay for around $15 plus shipping. Very plentiful supply. They also can be repaired..

I don't know, but likely any size. I didn't go that route but instead made a mod to my controller...

Tony,
I think you need 944 617 121 00.
I am not sure the 944 617 021 00 will work.

Roger, I just double checked on the one we pulled out and it's: 944 617 021 00. Borland, you might have something there. I have already dropped in a load resisitor on the 3rd LED brake light. Will drop in a few incadecent brake light bulbs and see if that works. Thanks to all. T

944 617 021 00 was only used in 82 to 85 944's.
Did your cruise used to work??
Interesting to know so we can use that part number as the 021 is half the price of the 121.
