... and... you got the last one in the current batch!

Don't worry, though, I'll whip up another batch of ten or so within the next few days.

I guess all this activity this answered my question: there's still interest. I think I'll build up a good inventory of enclosures before taking the work holding fixture off the ShopBot.

Damn, Schocki! It looks like you got the last one. I just went to order one and the site says "sold out". Hope Ed makes a new batch soon.

UPDATED 2 Minutes later: Ed says Schocki got the last one and he'll be making more soon. Yay!

Wanted to give the only LED converted GTS in Spain the final touch and full functionality. Sorry

Ed,
I'd somehow lost track of this great innovation. Looking forward to seeing that these are "back in stock", so I can place my order. Looks great, and the commendations are superb. Job WELL DONE.

Thanks for the offer. If I properly time my request with the lunar cycle I can have CarChick get them through PP

Ed,

Thanks for letting me know they are 'back in stock' (must have made these up Sunday evening instead of watching a very 'dull' Superbowl !!!!). Just placed my order.

By the way, if you haven't posted some info on the other Rennlist sites (Porsche and others), might be worthwhile doing so. Drivers other than 928 folks must replace their incandescents with LED's as well.

Cheers,

Gary-

Noted, and will deal with it tomorrow (might be a one day delay if we get as much snow as we're supposed to).

I was, in fact, working on the next batch while (somewhat) watching the Super Bowl. I'm glad I elected to make productive use of my time, as otherwise, I think I would have considered the Super Bowl a complete waste of time.

These things are too time consuming to build by hand. To sell these in quantity, I'd need to re-design and have them mass produced. I might look into that (or not ).

For now, I'll just try to satisfy the demand from my Rennlist buddies.

And it is much appreciated! Thank you for putting this together!

And please don't feel like you have to venture out in snow to get mine shipped to Sunny Florida! I won't be installing it right away, so I don't mind waiting, at all. Respect Mother Nature!

Update: Received! Looks great and looking forward to the install! Thank you, Ed!

Does there exist a listing of the exact bulbs, color and number of each that need to be ordered for the various clusters? Ed's PDF does list the 5 types of bulbs, but not the numbers of each needed.

Am I being lazy? Sort-of. My '91s cluster is out so I can go disassemble it and make an accounting of all the bulbs. But, I'm going to be putting one of the three I got from Ed into a customer's '87 once Spring arrives and I don't have that one's cluster in-hand. But, I'd like to order a bunch-o-bulbs soon.

The "Parts Summary" at the end (page 39, if you're looking at revision 0.7) contains color and number of each.

Also see the note right before the table, in case you want to go with an alternate color scheme if it's a cluster for an A/T model. Also adjust the numbers if it's not an A/T model, since you won't have the gear shift indicator bulbs.

I should probably break down the numbers better for A/T vs. M/T so you don't have to figure it out.
