Ed - I would be interested in one too.
Question - how easy would it be to modify your design to control interior lighting LED's as a soft fade out and relatively quick fade up module. Concept would be to have the device fed by the existing delay relay - for the main delay function then trigger the LED fade functions Quick on and slow fade off.
Approx specs: <0.5 sec fade-up (variable?), Variable (pot) Fade-down in range ~1 sec - ~5 sec.
Challenges are your existing module is a supply side device while we need a ground side device for the interior lights - however generally this is even easier (just different). And you do need a variable ~linear fade option Vs. an adjustable level - But still a very similar circuit. Depending on config this likely needs a very low quiescent current if it's always supplied or a self-powered mode (for the fade time) if it's supplied by the interior light switching circuit...

I developed a purely linear circuit years ago to do exactly this for the stock incandescents - but of course it's no good for LED's.

Yes... I'm happy to report that I just finished up a batch of ten units last night. I'll be reviewing my various e-mails, Rennlist PMs, Rennlist posts in this thread, etc., and contacting people who were on the "informal waiting list" in the order of those requests, and then providing instructions on how to order. Expect to hear more Thursday evening when I get some more time to sort that out.
I expect to start another batch right away, then, as I suspect the current batch won't last long.

I faced similar challenges when designing a replacement for the acceleration sensor under the seat on PSD equipped cars, not taking all the credit though as JDS is my partner for them. Far lower demand though so still all hand made.
Love the desktop milling machine, does it also cut aluminium?
