Thunderhill SCCA American V8 supercar race 7-24-2011 --Video UP now
Over the 23-24th weekend, we are running the American V8 supercar series at Thunderhill, and the ITE folks will run with us.
Ill have a unique chance to compare (for my first time) a set of DOT Hoosier A6 race tires vs the R100 Hoosier slicks. Won't have a lot of test time on them, so the comparison might not be a perfect situation. However I have heard that they are very close to the A6 as far grip. Im thinking they will be slightly better based on my close competition improved performances in the past.
I think of our Rennlist buds will be there in his GT3cup running in Superproduction.
We will run a split start with the rest of the mix class grid. Only American Supercar will do this. Kind of a bummer, as I wanted to run ITE and American V8 supercar, one race of each this next weekend, but i guess this is a happy medium. especially if they have a caution!
Qualifying and races on both Saturday and sunday.
we are trying to get the big brake upgrade for the S brakes on Scots car in time, and get him to sign up.
