"When I bought Ken's PKsn'r for air pump, it arrived in 'not as described' condition. Instead of a removable air pump bracket which facilitates easy pump removal, the bracket was welded on.
Now several months later, 928's R Us web site still shows the old product design. Same price, less features."
Borland,
I guess the difference here is the the Seller (928sRus) had no knowledge of your issue. Please send the PKensioner back and I will give you a full refund plus your return shipping.
I will raise a retun label for you. First time ANYONE has mentioned this modification being a concern.
I will aslo update the old web site - our new web site has the later pictures (going live soon).
Roger

I think if you dispute with your CC when paying through PayPal it fubars your PayPal acct.
NOS of any kind has the same problem, when an old part gets pulled and still "looks good", nothing is more handy for storing it than the package the new part came in. The guy who pulled it knows its used, but when some shop sells off all the old inventory in a lot to some ebay seller, that information may not be passed on. Thats no excuse for a seller to substitute rudeness for lack of product knowledge.
Old part sometimes also goes in the new parts box to be returned as a core.

Nah not me, been out of this for a year. Not surprised to visit here one time in four months and see someone still talkin about me though! I would say that i did the best i could given the tremendous volume we saw, and there were short comings in service, yes, but nothing was ever done intentionally to harm anyone. Those who know me know this is true. Just surfing through, see you in a few months.
Can't sell my shark, it's attached to me i suppose.

Although eBay sent emails for everything else, they did not send me an email of their decision - I just checked today.
Negative feedback left for dante100 - "'NEW OLD STOCK' AC hose was USED W/RUST ON. Sellers only A to Q: 'NO RETURNS'"

eBay Customer Support comments:
We're sorry you had a problem with your purchase. However, after further review, we confirmed that our original decision was correct.

Wow. Complete lack of logic and any rationality. He gets to advertise as new, and you get used, and ebay and paypal (same thing) don't care.
I buy some new old stock sometimes. I'll be more careful - thanks for the clear and info-included warning Ken.

Paypal did the same for me....I bought a set of euro scirocco bumpers and payed through paypal. They guy, after much waiting, "shipped" the bumpers to me.... When I got the package, there was only one bumper. He sent me an email asking how I liked it etc....I didn't answer that question without qualifying it (as in ....one is fine..where is the other??). He said the shipping got mixed up etc...every excuse in the book.. I was coming up on my last chance to dispute the transaction..so I did.. They reviewed it and concluded that "he sent a package to me and I received a package"....so they did not refund my money. I appealed and they said.."we don't comment on the quality of the item ordered". He sent a package and you received a package. No refund.
Well....contact the credit card..and had to request all my money back. End of story.
Deal with your credit card company...screw paypal and ebay..

WTF!
My feedback was deleted?
Now gone from seller's list.
Interesting...

Buyers be forewarned that you cannot leave negative feedback for sellers on ebay motors. Ebay allows the seller to scrub it.

In hindsight, I should have left neutral feedback w/the same message.
Geez. Talk about a learning experience.
Definitely going to be credit card payments over $50 or so from now on.

Ebay gets paid by the seller, not you, the buyer. Seems like the system should more accurately be called Ebay seller protection.
I don't use Ebay much, but from now on, any purchases I make there will be made by credit card. If there are any problems, the first call will be to the credit card issuer, and Ebay/Paypal will find out about the problem from them when the charge is disputed.
I'm going to be doing ALL purchases of any amount that way. I'm sure they'll love having to deal with something like a charge dispute for a $0.10 purchase from China that didn't arrive.

That's crazy. I never used to give that much credit to a few negative feedbacks here or there, but seriously... this guy’s record is still flawless. That's total BS...
I guess eBay is always buyer beware, for the few bum deals I've had there have been more than enough great deals to make up for it.
