Greg S's 5-spd GTS on EBAY
Have not seen Greg since the first ICOC, but he keeps his cars immaculate.

Beautiful car!
Schick has done a really nice job on PM, enhancements, etc!!
He bought the car from Randy Grubbs here in DFW and Randy spared no expense on the car when he had it.

He says in the ad ". . . . I foolishly let someone convert the AC to R134 last year and it's never really blown cold since."
It's a '93. The change over year was '92. So Randy had the original (134) changed to R12 and Greg changed it back to 134??
It does look worth the asking price.

There are early and late 93 GTS models. The early ones were manufactured in 1992 and had R12 refrigerant. I have one of those. There may be a few other differences as well.

Steve,
Not 100% sure, but I think the R12 to 134 move came midway through model year 93??
Sounds like it was always R12 and Schick had it converted to 134.

I remember Keith had this problem with his late 93 with R134....turned out the flappy valve was NOT hooked up correctly which caused a slight vac leak while running, which would allow the heater valve to open just a tiny bit.....or just enough to make the system seem weak!
Found his quote from way back in 2005 at Devek Days
"ICEMAN/Brian...you ARE the man!!! That little switcharooni on the vacuum solenoid fixed my AC issues...and that wasn't the reason you did that!!!! It got so cold in my car after you swapped those lines, I actually had to run the fan on 1 and MOVE the temp slider UP to make it tolerable in the cabin. I think the small leak that the switched lines created caused warm air to mix with the cold. 109 degrees in the central valley on the way home and Jennifer was screaming at me to TURN THE F'ing AC OFF AND OPEN A F'ing WINDOW! The car seems to run as good as it did before, but you inadvertantly fixed my AC issues that we have been discussing on the SOCAL board. THANK YOU!!!

I wonder why he didn't advertise here first? Not implying anything, just wondering...
I've been looking for a while, and had I not lent my sister a considerable sum of money on Sunday I'd be all over this one...
However, just throwing it out there...is it a tad expensive given the mileage? Once again, not implying it is, just wanted to ask some knowledgeable people their thoughts on the pricing...and of course there is the admittedly impressive condition and documentation, bordering on OCD to account for...
