And what's this nonsense about moving Third Coast??!!?? I've almost got my record cleared in Blanco County and now I've got to learn some new jurisdiction??

Definitely interested. I have a brother-in-law in Austin, so I could potentially make this a family vacation, then sneak out to meet up with you guys.

I'm planning to go unless I'm on a job somewhere. Even then I might take a few day's off and fly home. There is a new web site http://circuitoftheamericas.com/.

Roger,

I've got family in Austin and in the Hill Country a bit north.

I've always wanted to attend another F1 race and am up for this!

I wonder if this F1 race will be as exciting as my first and only - watching turbo's manage a scary/rainey street course in Detroit!

I'm interested Roger. I know there is some preliminary buzz from the Austin aircooled crowd about something like this also.

James' garage would sleep about thirty and is air-conditioned. Not sure what he keeps in there, but I'm sure he wouldn't mind clearing it out to host the crew ;-)

All kidding aside, it's a great idea and I would say most of us Austin 928ers will be there. One of the great things about F1 are the viewing mounds, you can stroll around the grounds and watch at the different turns .. just set down a blanket, pop open a beer and enjoy the racing. I went to two or three of the F1s at Indy and never bothered to sit in my seat.

BTW, I'll bet James can arrange a photo shoot as part of the weekend activities ... with that many 928s on hand to be photographed, he'd have to round up all his lady friends ... and, of course, have a big after-shoot party with the models!

I went to all but one F-1 race here in Indy (missed the 'Michelin' year... wouldn’t say I missed it thought).

An F-1 race with Texas 928 crew would be a great motivator to get back down to the lone star state!

Tom has it right there! That would be some kind of fun!!! Yea, I could sleep about everyone in the garage, pretty sure our bathroom would be overwhelmed though! LOL!

I'm definitely in. My dad and I made the executive decision that we can't miss this.

If F1 goes to texas, so will I. I'm in AND will need this type of long term planning to make it happen.
