Gonna be a hell of a facility when it is all done. I sure hope they bring the local PCA out for a little driving tour of the track SOON!!! I'll be there if at all possible. Even better let us do a little mini-DE there!!! YEE HA!
BTW, the Ferrari Club has invited the 928 Club (and the PCA at large, but the Pres of the FCA region also has a '95 GTS as his DD!) to join them for their events on Fri and Sat! If you need more info let me know and I can email it to you!

Thank you for posting that ^^. I would not have known about it otherwise. I remember the Montoya/Gordon drive at Indy and this was better coverage.
Tony Stewart, a guy who has been successful in Indy cars and Nascar, both league's that have very wide, very sticky slicks, such good tires that Nascar takes tight turns 3 abreast at 160+ said this when he got out of the carbon-carbon braked F1 car ------------- "Everyone told me how good the brakes were on these cars, I knew it would be good, I just didn't realize they were going to be that good." Then he goes on to talk about handling/down force. Good ol Tony knows the difference between tires, down force, handling and braking since he does it everyday. Brakes stop cars not tires. And to top it off they were driving on rain tires, not slicks because the track was damp. (No need for a discussion, I will not respond, no place for it in this thread, but the video was here)

Well some of us will be at Abu Dhabi next week -
There was an interesting pole in the Middle East recently.
They found for some weird reason that people up Bahrain do not like Fred Flintstone but the folks down in Abu Dhabi Dooo!!

COMING QUICKLY! Gonna be TERRIBLE traffic getting in and out of the place they say. Oh, well, I am REALLY looking forward to the weekend anyway! Can't wait to hear F1 cars live and in person again!
