She's a little upset that I had to take that battery and put it back in the boat.

And then Kurt was off to see the Wizard. Maybe SRS should have been called?

Not a hijack, but rather an FYI...

If anyone is planning their vacation around SITM, there is another show the following weekend in Charlotte...

The 15th Annual Carolinas Region PCA SommerFest (called 'PorscheFest' for the preceding 14 years until the PCNA/PAG lawyers took issue with it). It is the whole weekend of June 10-12, with lots of events within the main event.

Link for info: http://www.cr-pca.org/NewsDates/Arti...SommerFest.pdf

Again, this is just meant to be a "while you are here in North Carolina" info tip...

Even better, the NEW SCCA Hillclimb at the Dragon is also June 11-12. Brand new event and if anyone wants to go I am definitely down for that.

Hi Rick,

With Scott in the "pack" I would guess you guys were going a lot faster than those Zs in that Vid.... I forgot how funny those things sound after being so used to the sound of a 928 :-)

Was standing in my garage just yesterday staring at Scott's GTS and thinking about asking Tom if I can drive it a little at SITM this year...if I can gather up the guts to do it. It is still wrapped up and tucked away in my garage and it needs the cobwebs blown out of it BADLY.

Still miss my pal.. a lot, dang it :-(

Yeah me too. He was driving his red GT and I followed him, it was a lot of fun, then he split to go to PA and I went back to OH.

Hi Guys,

After the meeting at Beech Mountain Town Hall Friday I was talking to the nice lady that runs the Real Estate office behind the Brick Oven. She asked me if I had some good pics from last years event I could share with her. I said no problem, then she started showing the ones she had taken.. I said those are better than most of mine, so we traded pics. :-)

Thought I would share a few of them with you guys. BTW, the originals are fairly hi rez so if anyone wants the originals of any of the shots let me know.

Andrew's "Evil Red GT"..

Tom's High Tech Hood shock....must have blown his hood shock budget for all the funny looking stuff under the hood. :-)

Shawn...GIMME MY GT BACK... Ha, Ha.

For Rixter, who I hope is getting better, we will miss you this year Rixter, get well soon!

"Mr. Sharkie" aka Wayne "1"..

A few people being mesmerized by Jim Kondax's amazing engine restoration.

Murph showing a couple of friends where he hides his stash... with Tom and Mike inconspiciously watching for cops.. (J/K) :-)..probably just showing the damage done to 928 seat backs by repeated use of Forced Induction...(more likely) ha, ha!

Barry (lower left) calling the cops to report stolen "Hemi" and "4Matic" badges from the back of his 928..ha, ha..., while Hacker holds the badges firmly in each of his pants pockets, as Brian, Lorelei and Fraggle try to act nonchalant and cover for him (center of pic)

The way every Town Hall parking lot should look.., reserved for 928s ONLY :-)

Town Hall Far Left..

Town Hall Left..

Town Hall Center...

Town Hall Right..

Town Hall Far Right..

Brick Oven Parking Lot..

The T-shirt says it all...

See you guys SOON!!
