I'm going to park my 928 on the "Group W" bench...

guys, if this is not a good idea, then let's scrap it right now. I'm just looking for a good time with you all and I'm not getting into a pissing contest with anyone. I'm definitely not getting into a verbal back and forth battle with anyone on this forum. I've seen too many of those and there is no winner. I've said my piece and that's the end. If DR wants me to head this up, I'll be glad to. If it's going to open up a can of worms and create resentment, then let's just forget it.

I think this statement right here is what makes SITM & this forum feel so welcoming & inclusive. All 928s are special & the folks that strive to keep them on the road even more so... to relegate the cars to 'classes' degrades the camaraderie we all enjoy.

Looking forward to my 4th SITM. Moving it to Beech Mountain last year was definitely a great decision DR. The Grand Father Mountain owners can kiss our asses bye-bye forever.

I was 24th on the waiting list a few weeks ago, there must be either a lot of people canceling or the waiting list system is a joke - one needs to constantly call the place and remind them about yourself. Whatever the case, I'm glad I got the spot...
