a stripe of red paint will give a quick idea if the nut has come loose,
paint from the center of the pin to the edge of the nut

Excellent Glenn, lets see how you and others fell after a month or so.

I have modified 3 sets so far, yours is the first I have heard back from. I'm thinking the others are not installed yet.

Got them installed, and so far the few drives I have done I have yet to hear any pops/clicks/creaks. I'll post more after some more drives

Same here, probably put about 150-200 miles on car since I put the modified plates on, no creaks, squeaks, rattles, etc. Still tight too. Seems to be working OK.

Still good?

I met with my machinist on this last week and we started the process of changing the drawings to reflect the new part.

If I continue to hear good feedback about it, this is the way they will be made from now on.

After about 750 miles all kinds of roads, All is still good with mine also. No noises, still tight. Seems like the fix is good.

Default Improved Version Available

I have the new-and-improved version of this part now in stock.

I have 10 sets at the moment.

If you have an older version that you want upgraded, we will still modify them for you free of charge if you send them in.

The price of the new units is higher as result of the additional part. I am adjusting our webpage for that now.
