My shop did the mod for me.
www.landsharks.de
It´s a trick from the corrado owners.
I can go to the vw dealer in the next days and ask for the partsnumber.
Maybe Roger can buy larger quantities for you in europe?

Since you are going to the dealer, ask if they cross over to any other model (hopefully the Jetta or Gold, and not the Polo since we don't get those either).
Let us know what year / model they cross to.

The Lupo is two models below the Golf. There is the Polo, and then the Lupo.

You've sold me Tony .... I voted no, but but you put forward a very persuasive argument ... I'd take my wipers off for the one in the third pic ..

I call 1st dibs on parts when the GTS is totalled in a freak rain storm without wipers...

...just kidding -I don't want to see any harm come to your car or yourselves.

Logic and reason must prevail somewhere in this build... don't do it.

(Show cars that have safety features shaved, altered, eliminated for aesthetics are usually trailered to events -not driven)

Here's my experience.....I would always remove my wipers during open road racing. However, at one race there was a late start, and afternoon thunderstorms rolled in. Just my luck, it was the one race my wife rode as navigator.

We caught up with the Corvette in front of us, and the one behind us was right on my tail as we were finishing the canyon section at 120+mph. Right then the thunderstorm unloaded on us. Couldn't see anything thru the windshield. I had to look out the left side window and watch for the white line on the side of the road. In my side mirror was a giant rooster-tail, drenching the Corvette behind me. I started slowing down, and was about try my best to come to a stop off the side of the road when the storm suddenly stopped. Exiting the canyon at 120mph the water was blown off the windshield, we could see again, and made it to the finish.

After the race, my wife said she was truely scared ****less for those tense seconds racing blind in the canyon. Learned my lesson...always have a wiper.

Do you know if they ar equal to regular Lupo wipers? They have wiper arms from a regular Lupo at my local dealer.

Seems to be a pretty overwhelming "NO".
