Wow, I didn't notice on the first Jetta how far under the cowl these arms go.

These measurements are not exact, A lot of snow to dig out to reach the mounting bolt

Golf:
D - 21.5" with 24" blade
P - 18" to the bend, 10" after with 19" blade

Jetta & CC
D - 22" with 24" blade
P - 19" to the bend, 10" after with 19" blade

2010 Toureg
D - 20" long arm - I didn't measure any more, it's a beefy unit I doubt anyone would use on a 928

928:
D - 16.5" with 20" blade
P - About the same

I did some more research, these are basically the style of arm that goes with the Bosch ICON wiper blade. If we can find a 16" or so arm that goes with this wiper blade.......might fit.

I have two identical arms.They are 44 cm long from the end to the middle of the axle of the drive.

Bump... Karsten, I would love to do this mod on my 79 so would also really like to know whether I need 2 x driver's or 2 x passenger's side Lupo GTI wipers.

I don´t know yet.I think Lupos have asymetric wiper arms.My shop did the mod for me.
I will search the vw forums here .Maybe I find a part nr.

You don´t need the cap nr.3b**** . It´s complete with the arm 6x**** .

I can't read German either, but I can tell that the first item is the wiper blade, which you don't need; the second is the wiper arm and you need two; the third is a "cap" and it apparently comes with the arm; and the fourth is "your-guess-is-as-good-as-mine." You don't need the blades because you are going to put Bosch or the other brand on there in the length that suits you best.

Now, if Nicole could see and read she could tell us what the last item is.

The last item is the cap on the base of the arm which cover the drive.
I think all parts are 100 $ together.
