Jim- As I recently resurected that thread, I am fully aware of the issue. I think the concensus is that power may remain the same, but boost levels will drop. Effectively, your hp/pound of boost will go up. So where I am running 9.5 psi now, it may drop to 8 (just a guess).
THis will allow me to put a smaller pulley on to regain the boost level and thus increase total horsepower.
Again this is all speculation. Will find out later in the spring when I get back tot he dyno.

Yep... but unfortuantely I didn't record backpressure before I put the headers on. But I am planning on going back to the same dyno later in the spring.

No plans. The mounts look fine. I don't baby the car either. It's good the go!
It's his shop logo and phone number. Pretty clever if you ask me - also says alot about the pride he takes. The welds look like robotic welds. Top quality workmanship.
What is your max boost now?
Has it dropped from 9.5 PSI?
Too early to say for sure. I only had time to drive it back from the shop. Need to clean up a few things and wait for a nicer day to go for a drive.
My plan is to go to the dyno with the current pulley see what it does, Then install the ludicrous-speed pulley (2.125") and then go straight to plaid (2.0"). I plan on documenting fully.
Maybe this guy could do a setup for me when I install the MSDS headers? Did he do the X-pipe for you, too?
Oh yeah... he can do it. No problem. The X was part of the total fabrication. I only supplied him with the mufflers and the flanges to mate up with the headers.
