Carl,

That car is SWEET! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE those wheels!! Great sizes too! Just perfect for a 928 and you have done ALL THE GOOD STUFF TO THAT CAR MAN!!!

Folks who are looking for a 928 for the first time will complain that it is to expensive and they will site all these other sales of total POS cars for you, but those of us who have been around awhile KNOW this car is a STEAL at $20k and should be bought by someone who wants to have some fun and ESPECIALLY one who wants to do some track work! Your car must be a HELL OF A LOT OF FUN on track!

GLWS! I hope you get EVERY PENNY of your asking price...you deserve it and the car is well worth it!

Well put James, when you know what we do about the value of the maintenance. The car is free, you buy the maintenance...

Carl - say it aint so! Your's and Afshin's are 2 of my favorite 928's in the Boston area, and both are worth every penny of the asking prices.

I am hoping to try to make the trip to SITM next year, so if you are sharkless at the time, you can hitch a ride with me. Better yet, you can drive mine and show me a thing or two!

GLWTS.

Thanks Brian. I would hitch a ride, but after 7 SITMs you need the driving not me! I'll bring tools, fuses and relays.
Did you get somewhere with the transmission guy at Tassinari's?

I'm not big on changing the stock wheels on these cars. But those wheels are absolutely fantastic.

Carl - Brad & I replaced the clutch slave (that was leaking at Tass's), but I still seem to have some clutch drag. I need to sort that before looking at synchros. I did make contact, though, for trans work if I need it. I plan to drop the clutch this winter and have a look at it - it almost feels like the disks are hanging up on the shaft - need to inspect that...

I can drive it as is - carefully

Thanks, I was a "wheel addict" looking at wheels daily for months. When I got those I stopped looking completely. Keeping my original center caps was big; a piece of the original stayed.
I agree about stock, especially club sports, D90s and phone dials. The flat wheels to me make the car look old and boring. Good wheels too of course.

Although black is not my cup of tea (pun intended), I'd trade you my '88 auto even up... it's a work in progress -so you won't worry about putting a car seat in it, and you'd have plenty of nit-pick things to work on!

I've been just crazy busy, and you nailed it; work, kid, another new kid on the way, and more work. As you know its just nuts being in business for yourself, and I've been working my ***** off to get through this recession, working most nights and weekends too, so I've missed out on events... things are going fine though. Car has been in a constant project state, although I drove it around a bit last week.
I can relate to the stress you're under bro...

That's one bad-*** car Carl's got folks, and its actually a STEAL at $20K! Somebody buy it!
