Is Mike Simard a figment of my imagination or something?? He posted three times in this thread that he has the ability to produce these gears......in house.

Judging by everything else he makes I can image the price will be very reasonable and the quality will far exceed OEM.

Thanks Hacker, Like I said I didn't have time to look through the whole 20 pages so I didn't see that Mike responded. Good problem solved !

Ok..I fill up at the San Jose Airport, and im headed for Denver.

Will I make it?

Could I get to Reno, NV and back?

There is close to zero distribution system out there for an H fueled population..its worse than an electric hybrid..because if you forget to plug in..or the batteries run out, you still have an engine, with a gas station from here to forever across the planet.

The world works on practical solutions, and Hydrogen is not yet practical. However Popular Mechanics has been promising "..20 more years!" for Hydrogen, since the 50s.

Dang..ya..forgot that part.

Then..theres no problem to begin with..right?

When you compare the previous replace-continually for a lifetime of high gear cost, or now replace one and forget it...just finding the best deal..is the only "problem".

Patience grasshopper – nearly there.
I would like to get an initial set on a daily driver that clocks up some miles as a test mule. That way we can check on potential issues ahead of the pack. Suggestions on a stamped address envelope to 982sRus. Email me if interested at roger@928sRus.com.

I have sold 4 sets of the Porsche new cam gears to those were in a hurry. More in stock if you need them. If you have to ask the price you need to be patient 8>).

I have installed two sets, and it is far to early to tell, like other timing belt parts, having five cars go a total of 100,000 miles is no where near the test of having five cars go 100,000 miles each, and even at five cars, that is a very small number for a test.
