T, did you say they pulled the front windshield? Did they get it out w/o breaking it? Very unusual for these cars... they almost always get broken upon removal! These guys are GOOD!!! Man, I can't wait to see this car. I had visions of 928 color changes in my head last night all night I swear! I was thinking about the Tribute 95 I want to do (paint one the same as that last US GTS), I'd LOVE a Maritime blue '91 or '93 (I think that color was around both those years) and/or a Signal green 928. Maybe even a one off Purple in something that my wife could drive (she LOVES Purple)! If these guys are good and affordable I could keep them in business for a LONG TIME just doing color changes! LOL! Oh, Oh... SPEED YELLOW! You NEVER SEE 928's in that color!

"Just Beachy" paint applied to the underside of the hood for a last color check. We put it in the sunlight & also in the shade & it just looks awesome. T&T

Tony what is the update? You should have paint on the whole car by now I am guessing. Hope it is looking SPECTACULAR and that you will make it up to the January 2nd Saturday gathering in Austin!

Wish we had a little more progress to report at this time, but had a large 37' 5th wheel trailer in front of the 928 that needed to get done. Stopped by Larry's Paint & Body today & it's looking like the 928 is next in line for paint. Mom & Dad were just here from CT for 5 days and loved the new color. Does not look like the car will be ready for the next Austin meet. T

Looks great Tony! Appears they have done a great deal of block sanding, surface looks very straight on the doors. The door lock removal looks neat too, makes the door look very clean.
Cheers!

Glad to hear all like the color choice. Yes, lots & lots of block sanding. Carl, Glad to see you started your new thread "Empty shell to finished car". Keep the script & pics flowing (when you get back home). Looks like you are enjoying the process, which really makes it fun and fulfilling. T
