Default Repaint

Been busy with building out the garage/dance studio space that we plan on parking the 928 in, and have not been over to Larry's Paint & Body until today. Mike the painter decided to sand off all coats of clear of the main body & doors, and clear it 3-4X all all over again !! What a surprise that was. Next step-Mark in the body shop originally dissasembled the 928 and was supposed to be reassembling the 928 starting today. Unfortunately, Marks brother died yesterday and he just flew out to Florida to be with his family. Condolences to Mark & his family. T

That is one Naked 928! It is going to be GORGEOUS when finished! I just can't wait to see it!!! Remember 2nd Saturday is around the corner....not sure 10 days is nearly enough with the primary assembly guy in FL for a funeral though...

This looks great!

I can already envision endless discussions on message boards around the world when they see pictures of it. And they'll go: Is this Amazon Green, or Electric Blue, or ...?

Installed the hood & hatch today. Finally got a chance to see the 928 in the sunlight. T

Looking great, Tony! I know this may sound like blasphemy, but for maximal unveiling shock and awe, you might consider an updates blackout until she's all back together and unveiled down by the sea with one of those Texas sunrises , backlit with rays of sun.

Kind of like arriving at the Grand Canyon from the south entrance, where you're hit with it all at once, instead of coming in from the Painted Desert, where the buildup is gradual. Either way, it's still the Grand ****ing Canyon, but you know what I mean...

Point taken Rob. Does seem though that most like to see the process through from start to finish. Did see that on Garage Journal Herman and it does look great. Garages do look so much better with a car in it. Check out the Garages at Night thread at: http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=70650 This garage awaits. T

Yeah, agreed. Definitely value in seeing the order in which the pros put it back together, and it's going to be one sweet shark. I just like the 'out of nowhere' posts that make you go wow...

Don't forget to add one of James' models to the photo shoot
