Exactly. I found some other sites for milspec plugs and stuff.

The price of the crimpers for these things is confusing. Essentially a pair of complex pliers is going to be over 300 dollars. THAT, and the plugs sometimes makes it a better idea to have an expert make the looms when you really need it done well. Thats all a ways off for me though. I just thought all this stuff is so cool. Is it needed? Of course not. But neither is 800hp, or even 500hp.

From what I have seen on most 928's it seems that duct tape and a good snug twist seems to be the most common form of wiring repair.

Neat tools though, I wish i had found this site when I was doing the GTS mirrors on mine, I would have bought the crimpers.
