Thanks Bob, and no, lets not let this get into being mad at anybody, not even the guy that hit me, he is all ready getting his in jail.

You know me and know that my gun is only for me to defend myself, not every body knows me well enough to know that.

We can keep going back and forth until one of us inevitably mentions Hitler or we can we just agree to disagree. I hope we can do the latter because I just don't feel like doing this.

Greg unless the door is worse than it appears, just repair it. Wood hammers and a good tradesman will put it right and that way you can blend the paint and get a better result. Otherwise you end up painting the whole side.

Thanks Greg, not sure how they are going to repair it, it is going in the body shop Monday, the only thing I have told them is that if any thing has to be taken apart, i want to do it, like removing the door handle or the mirror.

Not that I don't trust them.

It is in the hands of the body shop now, I hope for the best.

Sure thing, they are going to do some additional work to it, i never was really happy with the last paint job, so it is going to take a few trips.
All they will have time to do this trip is take care of the door and polish some scratches out.

I know I will chicken out, but I really want to remove the door handles and the locks form the doors.

The total body things I can see in my mind are the door handle and lock delete, which I may very well do this winter.

the second thing is to remove the Porsche emblem from the hood, fill in the indentations on the rear bumper cover that says "Porsche" and remove the bumperettes.
I am pretty sure I am going to do that this.

The third thing that I may do, but I doubt I will do, is remove the sunroof.

All of the above with very dark window tint and black chrome Carrera 3 wheels would make the car look great IMHO.
It would look stealthy and sinistar, just what I had in mind when I first saw a 928 years ago.

I do not care about how it would limit potential buyers, and it would do that and lower the value of the car with out a doubt.
I have built the car to be what I want it to be, not for resale value.

Greg, Glad you handled the situation at hand, like a man. You must have been in Coweta. If you had been in PTC they would have locked you up. You are right about not taking the guy to court. You would get a judgement, but it sounds like the guy doesnt have anything nor will he have anytime soon.
What body shop are you using? When it comes to mods, I would recomend Embryes Cusyomotive.
He does alot of custom work, and has an interior guy onsite.
