I was not aware I was messing with anybody for sport.
Yea, I would say the guy is screwed, I have know folks that have done 5 years for the third time getting caught of driving on a suspended DL, and this had to be the guys third time.
I think any car like a old 928 is always going to be a work in progress if you drive it.
I still have some major "Improvements" left to do on mine.
Blower, Interior, 5 speed conversion and minor suspension work, plus the rest to the body issues, so close and so far away at the same time.
I could drop 20 grand on this car so quick it is not funny.
What is also not funny is that I do not have 20 grand.

I think you did he right thing (my bleeding heart is showing) but messing with this guy for 'sport' does no good, imho, karma is a biotch...
sounds like he's pretty muched screwed himself in deeply, doesn't need help from others, lol
does your state have provisions/fund for uninsured motorists?
can you make a claim?

I believe Arthur is suggesting (Arthur, please forgive me if I am mistaken) is that going after him in court to have the order that Steve suggested would be for 'sport'. I have to agree with him here. My reason would be more to put the whole thing behind me though. Unless I thought I could actually get the money, then I would sue his *** off.

Been away from Rennlist for awhile. This sucks. Glad you got the guy; sorry 'bout your car. After all the work you've done on her to get her looking so good, it sucks to have a set back. But, that's what it is, a set back, you'll have her turning heads again in no time I'm sure. ****, you had her so well sorted you probably needed a project...
