Default 928 Hit and Run ! It's back from the body Shop !

My 87 was hit in a parking lot, nothing a new door will not fix.

Now we get to the good part, I was inside talking about some parts and a woman that worked there came in and said "Is that your Black Car? Some one just hit it and took off"

There is nothing like a armed high speed pursuit to get ones blood flowing, it ended well enough, no one got shot, Greg did not go to jail, the other guy was not so lucky, they cuffed and stuffed his ***.

I will post pics tomorrow sometime when I am not shaking so bad and can hold a camera.

Yea, old white guy, no DL, it had been suspended for driving with no DL so I bet this makes him a habitual offender, no insurance, fleeing the scene of a accident and I am willing to bet there will be more charges also.

That was a long wait for the police as there were three of them and only one of me.

I still am in shock that he ran like he did.

OMG, the same thing happened to me in my former '86 years ago. Unfortunately, no one came to tell me it had been hit, I found out only after I came out of the store to see the passenger front 1/4 smashed. I was in the store for like 3 minutes too! It wasted the fender, bumper cover and bumper lights on that side. No note, nothing. Too bad this happened, but it's awesome that you caught the guy

speaking of hit and runs.... my mother in law's car was hit by one of the idiots that lives across the street not 15 minutes ago. The gal that hit her was 18... no job, no school, no nothing.... but driving daddy's truck. Thankfully, a good samaritan neighbor saw it happen and called us. We tracked her down a few minutes ago and called the police... she made a very smart move by fessing up to it and handing over her insurance. My good-natured mother in law let her off once she got the insurance... I'm still fuming over it...

Damn Greg. Sorry you have to deal with this but I'm sure you'll make it as good as or better than new. The only place they're safe is at home in the garage but what fun is that.

Bad scene, good ending (hopefully). What were you packin? When I'm in the 928 I prefer my P7 H&K .9mm, it's just so German. Otherwise I generally pack a 3" Kimber crimson carry .45 acp.

I was inside getting some parts and when I found out it had been hit I ran out side to see them driving away, I ran back and jumped in my car and after 2-3 miles they had decided it might be time to pull over, I jumped out and told them to get out of the car.
Kind of scary now that I think about it.

I did have my gun in my hand, but it was behind me so they could not see it, there were three of them and I had not idea what they had in mind.

Thank god I live in a state that trusts me enough to arm myself or this may have ended very differently.
